Open a new image 500x500.




Select the preset shape tool "ellipse" with colors of your choice. Draw a circle.




Select the pen tool. (you will see four nodes on the circle border)
(for psp7 users, click on object selector tool then node edit in the tool options.)


Move the cursor on the border of the disc while pressing the 'ctrl' key. You should see a '+add' in the mouse cursor. Click the mouse to add a node.



Add a node between each original node on the disc. You have now 4 more nodes.




Repeat the split once more, you should now have 8 more nodes.




Take one of the nodes, click on it and keep the mouse button down, then drag the node towards the center of the disc




Leave the next node unchanged and drag the second next towards the center by the same method.




Repeat this for other nodes, leaving one unchanged and taking the next to the center.
Don't worry if the nodes do not touch or if it is not exactly at the center.




Select one of the nodes from the center, press 'ctrl'+'L' keys to make it a 'line node'




Repeat for all nodes of the center. You get something like this :




Zoom the image around the center. Drag one of the center nodes as near as possible to the center. Take the next one and drag it on the previous.

Repeat for all center nodes.
